Defiant Eric Reid Takes NFL Teams to Task Over 'Blackball Tuesday' Tweets
By Tyler Kemp

Free agent Eric Reid has been one of the most outspoken figures in the NFL dating back to 2016, when both he and Colin Kaepernick were kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police violence and racial injustice in America. After filing grievances against the league, both men have been labeled outcasts, with Reid recently finding a home in Carolina until this past offseason.
On social media, many teams, athletes and other figures in sports are taking part in ‘Blackout Tuesday’ to stand in solidarity with the protests that are happening throughout the country following the murder of George Floyd by police. Reid took it upon himself to respond to the 49ers’ ‘Blackout Tuesday’ post with his own spin on it.

Reid did not stop with his former team, though. He also called out a few other teams who took part in the “trend.”

Atlanta was not spared either. We have to wonder if there's a theme here, or if Reid has a history with these teams.

Arizona also got a response from Reid.

As more teams post their ‘Blackout Tuesday’ posts, Reid could look to take the same action. He is clearly trying to make a point here with his play on words about how NFL teams mistreat their current and former players.
Kaepernick, in particular, has yet to find a home since 2016, which still seems unfathomable.
