DeMarcus Lawrence Hilariously Trolled Ben Roethlisberger Over His Caveman-Like Beard

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger recently recorded a video providing an update for fans from his quarantine and urging others to stay inside.

The message itself was great and is something that will hopefully convince stubborn individuals to follow Roethlisberger's lead. However, folks weren't discussing the video's message. Instead, all anyone could focus on was the state of Big Ben's mangled facial hair. Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence tweeted out a great take on the quarterback's ragged appearance.

Roethlisberger looked a bit rough on the sidelines during the 2019 season. He has taken that to a whole new level and his beard may actually have outdone Tom Hanks' look in Castaway. Others also jumped into the replies to have some fun with the quarterback's rough look.

Many NFL players are posting workout videos during their social isolation. Roethlisberger, still on the mend, is on the complete other end of the spectrum in that regard. Lawrence's movie references were spot on and Big Ben's beard has certainly reached "trapped on a deserted island" levels of shaggy.
