Broncos Star Von Miller Becomes 2nd NFL Player With Confirmed Case of Coronavirus

Jay Glazer controversially dropped news Wednesday night that Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen had a confirmed case of coronavirus. He was the first NFL player with a confirmed, publicized positive test, and now, we already have our second -- and it happens to be a future Hall of Famer.
Denver Broncos superstar Von Miller has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, according to his agent. He's currently understood to be recovering at home.
NFL star and Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller has a confirmed case of COVID-19, his agent @JobyBranion of @VanguardSG tells me. The #Broncos star is at home resting and in good spirits. He plans to speak publicly tomorrow.

The first thought that comes to mind is naturally that Miller is on a path to a full recovery, and the fact he is set to speak publicly on Friday is a good sign.
NBA players were the first star athletes to test positive, and now, the NFL has begun its own faceoff with COVID-19, further proving that this virus does not respect geography or economic class.
“Von has elected to share his diagnosis publicly to emphasize that anyone can be afflicted with coronavirus. … [He] is doing well and recovering at home in self-isolation.”

A true star and former Super Bowl MVP like Miller testing positive for COVID-19 should get the entire NFL to take this seriously if that hasn't happened already. The focus has to be keeping players, team staff, and those around them safe and not putting anyone at risk.
For now, all we can do is keep Miller and Brian Allen in our thoughts and keep hoping for the best.
