VIDEO: Deontay Wilder Narrating Final Round of First Fight With Tyson Fury is Amazing
By Michael Luciano
Deontay Wilder has been replaying his 12 rounds against Tyson Fury over and over again in his head as he prepares for the anticipated rematch. If this whole boxing things ends abruptly for him, he appears to be working on a career as a TV personality within the sport, as evidenced by his funny, yet natural commentary on that high-octane 12th round in their first fight, which ended in a stalemate.
Wilder was getting outboxed by Fury early on in that fight before he turned on the jets and started landing some brutal right hooks late. 99% of fighters are done for the night when Wilder gets a free shot at their head, but Fury proved to be in the minority who can take it, as he just barely survived the American's heavy right hand.
Fury has been up to his usual needling tricks, and Wilder looks intent on forcing the Gypsy King to keep his trap shut.
Wilder has no doubt been pouring over every second of that last fight, trying to find a weakness in the 6-9 heavyweight who moves like a man a foot shorter than he is. If all goes as planned for Wilder, he'll end up landing a punch so vicious Fury doesn't get up off the mat.
