Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury Fight Weights Revealed for Much-Anticipated Rematch
By Jerry Trotta

Eyes of the sporting world will descend upon Las Vegas on Saturday night, where boxing giants Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will lock horns in their greatly-anticipated rematch.
Boxing buffs don't really need any more narratives to get them juiced for the bout, and the last pre-fight nugget -- the official fight weights -- will surely send them over the top.
On Friday night, Dan Wetzel of Yahoo Sports confirmed that Wilder clocked in at 231 pounds and Fury weighed in at 273 pounds.
Deontay Wilder weighs in at 231 pounds. Tyson Fury at 273. They were 212.5 and 256 last time. This is going to be a brawl.

Some may look at the 42-pound difference and think that the Gypsy King has the upper hand (literally), but, as Wetzel notes, the Bronze Bomber's 212.5-pound weigh-in was 43.5 ticks lower than Fury's 256 lbs in the fighter's first meeting.
Wilder and Fury famously fought to a split-decision draw at the Staples Center back in December of 2018 in what was largely recognized as one of the best heavyweight fights in years.

Now that the weigh-in is official, all that's left to do now is count down the hours until the bell sounds to convey that Round 1 is underway.
