Derek Carr's Dad Gets Son Autographed Photo of Raiders Great in Awesome Christmas Gift
By Mark Powell
Derek Carr's Christmas is going better than yours, we can basically guarantee that.
Carr and the Raiders still have an outside chance of making the postseason, but in the meantime, he's celebrating his holiday season just like the rest of us.
The 28-year-old revealed the present his father gifted him for the holiday, and it'll give any true Raiders fan goosebumps.
Oh yes, that's a true Raiders great in Ken Stabler.
Stabler is inarguably the best quarterback in franchise history, and while Carr is the latest heir to the throne of Raiders stardom, he's often looking up to the lore of No. 12.
Stabler's birthday also just so happened to be Dec. 25, making this gift all the more fitting.
Stabler was a four-time Pro Bowler with Oakland before moving on to Houston and then New Orleans at the age of 35. His most successful stint in the NFL was with the Raiders, however, as his rockstar personality symbolized the Black Hole perfectly.
