Derek Carr Fuels Bears Trade Rumors By Posting Instagram Photo With Khalil Mack

The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to make a splash at the start of the new league year. Reports indicate that the team is set to make a massive two-year contract offer to free agent quarterback Tom Brady.
So what does that mean for current Raiders quarterback Derek Carr? Well, if the Raiders are successful in their pursuit of Brady, Carr is bound to get traded. And the former 2014 second round pick has a suggestion.
Carr posted a photo of himself alongside former teammate and Bears linebacker Khalil Mack on his Instagram account on Thursday, adding a bit of fuel to the ongoing trade rumors.
Carr on the Bears would be interesting. As it turns out, there's some smoke to the proverbial fire.
According to NFL insider Benjamin Allbright, the Bears are interested in adding a quarterback to compete with Mitchell Trubisky, who will be on a short leash in 2020. Allbright continued by saying the Bears would be interested in Carr if he were to become available.
This past season, Carr put up respectable numbers, throwing for 4,054 yards, 21 touchdowns, and eight interceptions while completing 70.4% of his pass attempts. But what makes Carr a much more enticing option for suitors is that only $2.9 million of his $18.9 million base salary is guaranteed for the 2020 season.
Carr obviously knows his time with the Raiders is running out, and he seems to be letting the organization know where he'd like to play in the future. And to be honest, playing for the Bears could do wonders for him.
