Derek Wolfe Calls Out NFL and Officials Over Potential Clock Error at End of Broncos-Bears
By Scott Rogust

The Denver Broncos and their fanbase were left seething on Sunday, as a controversial final drive of the game resulted in the Chicago Bears eeking out a 16-14 win on a 53-yard game-winning field goal.
Prior to that, it appeared the clock had struck zero, and the Broncos had the game won. However, the on-field officials awarded the Bears with a timeout, resulting in the winning kick.
Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe wasn't happy about that, as he expressed his frustration with the officiating crew and the NFL.
Broncos DE Derek Wolfe: "What I want to know is where did the second come from? The commissioner needs to review that. That’s our win. Time is gone. They ran out of time.

“I thought we won. And then I’m like, 'Wait, how are they kicking a field goal? Time’s out.’’' #9sports
Wolfe basically sums up the feelings of every Broncos fan around the nation.
The timeout being called with less than a second remaining wasn't the only controversial play to occur on that drive. Earlier on, Bradley Chubb was called for a roughing the passer call on quarterback Mitchell Trubisky on a relatively clean hit, which in turn, helped the Bears move down field closer to field goal range.

The Broncos are going to remember this loss for a long time, considering they came back from a 13-6 deficit to take a 14-13 lead late in the fourth quarter. That comeback proved to be null and void, thanks to some questionable officiating.
