VIDEO: Derrick Henry Gets Last Word on Earl Thomas in NSFW Interview After Titans Beat Ravens
By Mark Powell
Derrick Henry doesn't forget. Take notes, kids. Ravens safety Earl Thomas stated this week that he didn't think Baltimore would have trouble tackling Henry, as he assumed the Patriots' technique was off in the Wild Card round. Thomas found out the hard way thanks to a Henry stiff arm in a 190+ yard performance, and ultimately a Titans win. Henry still found the need to talk some smack postgame.
Ryan Tannehill has yet to throw for over 100 yards in the playoffs, but the Titans are going with a formula that's very clearly working. Henry himself threw a touchdown pass against Baltimore on a Tim Tebow-inspired play.
Yet, it was this ridiculous run, in which he essentially made Thomas his lead blocker, that will make headlines.
Thomas is a tremendous player and will typically back up his words with stellar play. In this case, though, he offended the wrong running back.
