The news just gets better and better for Philadelphia Eagles fans.

Following a triumphant victory over their rivals the Dallas Cowboys, in a game that will essentially decide the NFC East champion, the Birds are now anticipating the return of veteran WR DeSean Jackson for the postseason, provided Philly can parlay their home-field advantage into one singular win without him.

While Jackson cannot technically return to the team until the second week of the playoffs, the potential of a non-rookie receiver lining up on the perimeter should make Eagles fans jump for joy.

After all, the team just beat the Cowboys convincingly with a passing offense designed almost entirely around RB Miles Sanders and converted QB Greg Ward.

Hope is alive and well in Philadelphia, as the Eagles are just one win away from their third consecutive postseason berth. With D-Jax's return on the horizon, the Eagles may very well be a cinderella team once again this winter.

Isn't it wild how swiftly things can change?
