Deshaun Watson Checked to See if His Eye Was Still There After Kick From Raiders' Arden Key
By Sean Facey

Deshaun Watson pulled off an improbable feat of athleticism during his Week 8 matchup against the Oakland Raiders when he avoided pressure in the red zone, took a kick to the face from Arden Key, and then found paydirt with his touchdown pass to Darren Fells.
You can see Watson reaching up to his face following the kick, mid-play. Initially, it looks as though he's just adjusting his helmet, but according to Watson himself, he was actually reaching up to see...if his eye was still there.
In our @nflnetwork broadcast meeting here in London, @deshaunwatson said when he reached for his helmet on this play he wasn’t readjusting it but rather he was feeling his eye to see if was still there after taking a direct hit from Arden Key’s foot.pic.twitter.com/AlOd2lR3eu

GAK.
It's hard to tell what's most impressive about this. Not only did Watson manage to get the play off with only one eye open, but he was actually willing to literally continue the play without an eye.
The man is the epitome of toughness. Not even a blinding cleat to the face could stop him from throwing the game-winning touchdown to push his team to 5-3 on the season.
Deshaun Watson threw this TD with one eye. He’s the NFL MVP, folks.

Argument, over. pic.twitter.com/CCyx7OoWzY
And as if that wasn't enough, he still expects to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. There's nothing on the planet that's going to slow this man down.
No, his eye's not perfect yet. Yes, he'll be out there when needed.
Deshaun Watson’s left eye still has some swelling. He wore a clear visor at practice. Bill O’Brien said they’re not sure if Watson will wear the visor against the Jaguars. pic.twitter.com/gYg3yOzWNk

The Houston Texans really do have the ultimate competitor out on the gridiron at quarterback.
