Deshaun Watson Just Made Every Notre Dame Fan Really Mad
By Tyler Kemp

Deshaun Watson holds his alma mater of Clemson very close to his heart. The Texans’ franchise quarterback will never be bashful when it comes to a chance to give his school praise and downplay a rival.
One of his predecessors as Clemson quarterback, Tajh Boyd, posted a tweet asking his followers whether or not Notre Dame should be taken seriously as a championship contender for the upcoming football season. In a simple two-word response, Watson broke it down to Boyd and the rest of Twitter as simply as possible.
HELL NO! https://t.co/AnUfr6Mkhn

Talk about getting right to the point!
Many outside of the South Bend faithful feel the same way on a yearly basis, to be fair. Being that Notre Dame is still an FBS independent that doesn't have to win a conference championship game, it is difficult to determine how good the team truly is until the very end of the season. That rubs a lot of rival fans the wrong way.
Watson surely holds the Irish in a bad light considering the fact that he scored three total touchdowns and led his Tigers to a victory in his sole matchup against the Golden Domers during his Clemson career. For anyone that does not remember that game in 2015, here’s how it went down.

Watson’s followers were quick to bring the conversation back to the pro level. Following the trade of former teammate and fellow Tiger DeAndre Hopkins, Watson’s new No. 1 target, Will Fuller, played his college ball at the school that Watson is being so hard on.
Hey remember where your now best receiver went to school.

Until the fall comes around, it is all up to speculation whether or not ND can make a run at the College Football Playoff. Until then, Watson is letting the nation know where he stands on the matter.
