Details of Julian Edelman's Court Date Emerge Following Vandalism Arrest

Julian Edelman is not used to having so much free time in January, and the New England Patriots wide receiver used his newfound leisure time to get arrested Saturday night in Beverly Hills.
Edelman was charged with vandalism after leaping onto a stranger's Mercedes, and no, he's not getting out of this without a court appearance.

Edelman having to appear in court is more of a formality, but still a bad look for the receiver. That is true regardless of the severity of the crime.

Chalk this up as one of the more bizarre stories during an already wild NFL postseason. Edelman probably thought he would be focusing on the AFC Championship Game at this point in time. Instead, he is planning a trip back to Beverly Hills in April to appear in front of a judge at...Airport Court?!
The Patriots dynasty may be unraveling, and Edelman's arrest and court date could be significant blips on a very dark 2020 timeline. Or, you know, it could just be a bizarre footnote on next year's championship.
