Detroit Free Press Loses its Mind on Twitter After Lions Lose Heartbreaker to Packers

It's Tuesday morning and the pain/heartbreak hasn't gone anywhere for Lions fans following the team's 23-22 Monday Night Football loss to the Green Bay Packers.
As we all know, the MNF defeat was truly a controversial one, as a pair of penalties called against Trey Flowers were a complete and total disgrace. Many out there have lost their minds after Detroit was 'robbed' of a defeat. Perhaps no one more than the good folks over at the Detroit Free Press.
Final: Packers 23, Lions 22.

Lions blow a 13-point lead, settle for 5 field goals and have multiple blown calls go against them but, on the bright side, in 5 billion years the sun will swell into a red giant, vaporize the Earth and obliterate all evidence of this game happening
Following the loss, many Lions players came out and slammed the officials for the terrible calls made against the team. Not only that, many NFL players even chimed in to put the zebras on blast.
Specifically, both calls against Flowers have been a major topic of conversation. He was called for illegal hands to the face, but replays showed us his hands were clearly on the opposing players' shoulders pads. How can they have blown things so badly?
Watching the Detroit Lions is like eating a sandwich

Except the sandwich is on fire
You're on fire
Everything's on fire
And you're in hell
Watching the Lions
Jeez, yes we feel bad for Lions fans, but is this taking things a bit too far? Probably not, actually. The city of Detroit as a whole feels like they got screwed. This is their hell. Thanks a lot, NFL.
