Devastating Quote From Packers CB Tramon Williams Makes Mitchell Trubisky Look Terrible

After making the Pro Bowl and leading the Chicago Bears to a home playoff game in his second season, Mitch Trubisky's first game of the 2019 season against the Green Bay Packers was a resounding dud, as he went 26-of-45 for 228 yards and a pick as the Bears could muster only three points.

Packers cornerback Tramon Williams, who has seen a thing or two in his 13 years in the league, and the rest of the revamped Green Bay defense had Trubisky confused from the first play, which is exactly what they thought would happen if they allowed him to take control of the game.

The fear factor around Trubisky and that offense has been shattered.

The new defense, featuring former Bears safety Adrian Amos alongside Darnell Savage, Preston Smith and Za'Darius Smith, swarmed Trubisky and never allowed the notoriously streaky passer to get into any sort of flow.

Bears head coach Matt Nagy was shook, completely abandoning a run game that was working in exchange for letting Trubisky flop around in the pocket.

Chicago came into the year with Super Bowl aspirations, and that defense looked as good as ever with Chuck Pagano behind the controls, but they have a very hard cap on their potential unless Trubisky can improve as a passer.
