VIDEO: Dez Bryant Calls Cowboys 'Home' and Says He Wants Reunion in Dallas
By Karl Rasmussen
Dez Bryant hasn't been shy about his desire to make an NFL comeback, and one possible landing sport for the former wideout is his old stomping grounds, the Dallas Cowboys. Bryant was talking to a fan outside of an event on Wednesday night who asked the 31 year old whether he wanted to return to the Cowboys. Bryant said that Dallas was "home" before admitting how badly he missed scoring touchdowns on the gridiron.
Footage of Bryant working out recently went viral and the former Cowboy looked to be in decent shape. He's hoping to get the call from his old club and join in on the solid core they've developed in order to help with their push for a Super Bowl.
When asked if he'd consider a stint in the upstart XFL, Bryant was quick to declare an adamant "no," insisting he still had enough in the tank for another go around in the NFL.
One thing is clear based on this clip, and that's that Dez isn't lacking for confidence. We'd love to see the veteran get another shot in the NFL, and what better team to pick him up on a cheap deal than the Cowboys?
