Dez Bryant didn't step away from the game because he couldn't show out on the field, or at least, that's what he thinks.

The former Cowboy was looking for some answers on Tuesday night, and took to Twitter to get some. He started off by questioning Colin Kaepernick's next steps, while also defending Jay-Z in a long message. He wasn't exactly going after Kaepernick, but he was certainly critical of the former QB.

Bryant questioned why Kaepernick was so eager to return to a league that doesn't share his values and beliefs, though stating that he was not against Kap in his quest for social justice.

It's certainly curious timing considering Bryant himself just recently revealed his own intentions to stage an NFL comeback.

Bryant then went on to boldly claim that he was offered more than $20 million from a team, but turned it down because of how poorly he feels black players are treated in the NFL.

Whether or not there's any truth to that $20 million offer is unclear. All we have is Bryant's word on that one, but he's clearly up in arms over the Kaepernick situation as well as deeper seeded issues within the league.
