Dez Bryant Shows Love to Eagles for Jalen Reagor Pick
By Andrew Gullotta
Former Cowboys star Dez Bryant had some pretty nice words for Eagles first-round pick Jalen Reagor -- after all, game recognize game, regardless of the rivalry.
The former Pro Bowl pass catcher shared his nice words over Twitter Thursday night after Philadelphia selected the TCU product.
Bryant probably took note of Reagor while he destroyed his alma mater Oklahoma State in Big 12 play. The Horned Frogs' playmaker ravaged the Cowboys' defense, catching 15 passes for 219 yards and adding a touchdown in the process. He most likely saw the kid's ability, and immediately envisioned his potential in an NFL offense.
The Eagles must've seen this same potential, as they took him over collegiate star receivers, including LSU's Justin Jefferson. The Philadelphia faithful should be happy with the pick -- after all, their former rival even admitted that the prospect is a stud.
Reagor will look to help Carson Wentz and become one of his "go-to" options on the team. After the group was ravaged by injury in 2019, the TCU prospect should help solidify the Eagles' defense of the NFC East title.
With the gigantic question marks across Philly's receiving corps, the organization and fans alike hope Bryant is right about his fellow Big 12 alumnus.
