Dez Bryant Tweet About Wanting to Complement Amari Cooper and Dallas WRs Proves He Gets It
By Jerry Trotta

Former NFL wideout Dez Bryant has been eyeing a return to the league for quite some time, but the hype surrounding his efforts have never been more significant and realistic than the last few months. The 31-year-old free agent has showcased his skills in a variety of workout clips. Perhaps more telling that he's ready for a comeback, however, is his surprisingly self-aware tweet game of late.
Responding to a heckler on Twitter about a potential reunion with the Dallas Cowboys, Bryant acknowledged that he'd take a backseat to the likes of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Randall Cobb.
Coop is younger and fresher than me... I feel I could be a great compliment for Gallup coop and Cobb ... keeping it real https://t.co/H2U68uMq2W

Folks, this post proves that it's finally time for a team to take a flier on Bryant. It was previously speculated that, given his resume, the former No. 24 overall pick would demand a noteworthy role on the offense of whatever team signed him.
It appears that Dez has undergone a change of heart, or, at least, a long overdue reality check. Now, we can start looking at his impressive workout videos from an entirely different perspective.

Bryant undoubtedly burned bridges on his way out of Dallas, but his time out of the NFL proved to be a harsh lesson for the three-time Pro Bowler, even if it took longer than expected.
