Dez Bryant Tweets Perfect Response to Mike McCarthy After Catch Question at Cowboys Press Conference
By Jerry Trotta

Mike McCarthy's track record with the Green Bay Packers was anything but neglected during his introductory press conference as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.
A reporter actually mustered the gall to ask McCarthy for his thoughts on Dez Bryant's infamous catch that never was in the 2015 NFC Divisional Round against the Pack.
Though the former Super Bowl-winng coach never uttered that Bryant reeled in the pass, he inferred that the refs botched the call, and Dez was quick to endorse McCarthy's support with a perfect tweet.
Coach McCarthy... you are a real 1....

Dez is evidently a fan of the Cowboys' new HC, and rightfully so. His non-catch will go down as one of the most controversial in NFL history. It's simply too significant not to address.
Green Bay held a 26-21 lead with just under five minutes remaining when Bryant seemed to make a spectacular catch inside the five-yard line on fourth down.
What should have been a play that saw Dallas in pole position to take the lead in the final minutes was ultimately ruled not a catch thanks to McCarthy's throwing of the challenge flag.
On Jan 11, 2015, @DezBryant thought he caught the ball. Upon further review, the officials said he didn't.

“I was just reaching for the goal line, how is that not a catch?”
3 years later, we're still trying to figure out what a catch is, let alone if this was actually a catch. pic.twitter.com/F6MqdfqXq9
It's every bit as befuddling as it was in 2015.
Perhaps McCarthy's stance will see Dez and Cowboys Nation finally bury the hatchet, but we wouldn't count on it.
