Dez Bryant could choose to be bitter toward the Dallas Cowboys. He remains out of the NFL and may have thoughts about how he could help his former team.

Instead, Bryant has shared some support for the 'Boys ahead of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bryant grew up in Texas so he is staying true to his roots. Two annual games against the Eagles from 2010-2017 for Bryant also helped build the hate.

The receiver is in a state of limbo as he tries to return to the NFL. He was signed by New Orleans last season, only to tear his achilles tendon two days later. Teams may now be left wondering if his body can hold up when practicing and playing at the NFL level.

His best season came in 2014 when he finished with 16 touchdowns. Three of those came in a Week 15 matchup against the Eagles when he went off for 114 yards and the three touchdowns on only six receptions. The Cowboys went on to win the division before suffering a controversial loss in the Divisional round of the playoffs that year.

For now, Bryant remains a fan of his former teammates while he watches from home, though he will drop some of that rooting interest if he can find a new team.
