Diamondbacks Twitter Pounds Dodgers Fan Into Oblivion After Friday's Benches-Clearing Incident
By Michael Luciano
The end of last night's Arizona Diamondbacks-Los Angeles Dodgers game wasn't short on drama, as the entire Dodgers team was intent on going after opposing reliever Archie Bradley after they took exception to him almost hitting AJ Pollock on the wrist with a pitch and then shooing him away after getting him out.
Following that episode, a parade of Dodger fans tried to educate the Diamondbacks' Twitter account on how classless their team is while also laughing at them for hanging "Wild Card" banners in their ballpark. The Diamondbacks hit back, however, and in the process ethered this poor fan, who replied to their tweet after the game.
The last time the Dodgers won a World Series, the Diamondbacks didn't even exist.
The Diamondbacks Twitter account has a history of going in on unsuspecting, unprepared fans, and they responded to a weak, baseless criticism with some real heat. Top notch stuff.
Good night, sir!
Yes, the Dodgers are currently the best team in the NL while the Diamondbacks are struggling to stay above .500. That doesn't make this fan's response any less ridiculous or the Diamondbacks' destruction of them any less hilarious.
