Dion Waiters' Mom Insists He Absolutely Did Not Overdose on Weed Gummies
By Jerry Trotta

Miami Heat fans were forced to hold their collective breaths on Thursday night when it was reported that one of their players suffered a medical emergency during the team's flight from Phoenix to Los Angeles.
Reports later identified the player to be Dion Waiters and revealed that he was unconscious and suffered an apparent seizure upon coming to because of an apparent overconsumption of weed gummies.
Waiters' mother took to Instagram on Saturday morning to adamantly defend her son. "Please don't believe the rumors," read her impassioned post. "The media will report fake news to get clicks and likes...None of that mess is true."

And the plot thickens!
Did we really not expect one of Waiters' family members to come out and swiftly deny the rumors that he overdosed on edibles while on a team flight? This is a PR nightmare for Waiters, and his mother is simply trying to squander the aforementioned report before it spirals out of control.
