Disturbing Fletcher Cox 911 Call Leaks From Attempted Invasion of Eagles DT's Home
By Sean Facey
Philadelphia Eagles defensive star Fletcher Cox was given the scare of a lifetime when his home was invaded last week. A man by the name of Corbyn Nyemah tried to enter the house and has been charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
Now, the audio from Cox's 911 call from the incident has leaked, and it's downright chilling.
"I am secure, but I have my shotgun," Cox is heard saying over the phone. "I'm standing at my door if he comes into my house, I'm telling you right now. My gun is on safety and I'm going to blow his brains out."
It's nerve-wracking to hear Cox talk to the police, pleading with them to hurry up before he's forced to make a potentially life-altering decision. Fortunately for him, that decisive moment never came, but it's terrifying to consider nonetheless.
Nyemah claims that he was trying to talk to his ex-girlfriend, who he says was inside Cox's home at the time. He reportedly damaged her car and broke the windows of the home with stones before attempting to flee the scene.
The fact that Cox had to go through this experience is extremely unfortunate, and considering the fact that his house were slowly getting destroyed, it's easy to see why he was so fearful and ready to protect himself.
Hopefully the issue gets resolved so he can sleep safely at night without fear of another home invasion like this one.
