Doc Rivers Has Perfect Response to Fans Who Complained About Kawhi Leonard Resting vs Bucks
By Scott Rogust

The NBA has a potential NBA Finals matchup on the docket on Thursday night, as the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Milwaukee Bucks. Yet, the game is clouded by the Clippers decision to give star Kawhi Leonard a maintenance day.
Many fans who bought tickets to the Clippers home game are obviously upset that they're missing out on Leonard playing against the Eastern Conference powerhouse. Head coach Doc Rivers was asked what he would tell those fans who are peeved at Leonard sitting out. He replied, "they can see me."
When asked what Doc Rivers would say to the fans who bought tickets to Bucks/Clippers with the hopes of seeing Kawhi Leonard play, he replied:

“They can see me.”
When it comes with Leonard, he's a firm believer in load management to rest his knee, especially when it comes to back-to-back games. Last Wednesday, Leonard sat out against the Utah Jazz in favor of playing against the San Antonio Spurs.
Instead of playing on Wednesday night against the Bucks, "The Klaw" will take the hardwood to play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night.
NBA spokesman Mike Bass says league is comfortable with Clippers' decision that Kawhi Leonard is not currently “sufficiently healthy” to play in back-to-back games, per @wojespn pic.twitter.com/Z5v7uAcj0h

While Kawhi Leonard taking days off will irk some fans, they can't forget he used the same strategy last season with the Toronto Raptors, which resulted in an NBA Championship.
As Doc Rivers said, if fans are still upset by this, he's more than happy to get them sorted.
