Doc Rivers out in COVID protocols

For the Philadelphia 76ers, the team is going to be without Doc Rivers for a little while. On Thursday, it was announced that the veteran head coach has officially been placed on the COVID list.

Rivers, in the middle of another promising season with Philly, won't be on the bench for tonight's highly-anticipated showdown with the red-hot Brooklyn Nets.

This of course isn't great news for the 76ers. With Rivers not able to be with the team for the Brooklyn showdown, Dan Burke will take over as the team's head coach. We'll see how Philly can do without Rivers leading the way.
