The Los Angeles Dodgers endured a bit of a scare in the news prior to the NLDS.

Star infielder Corey Seager was involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon. Seager revealed that the driver of a parked car opened their door while he was passing by.

Luckily, there were no injuries at the scene and the only damage done was to the vehicles.

This postseason is the most important for Seager, as this is the first time in a long time that he's been fully healthy heading into the month of October. In 2017, Seager suffered a back injury in the NLDS, forcing him to miss the NLCS, before returning in the World Series. Last year, Seager underwent Tommy John surgery, missing the entire postseason.

Through 134 games this season, Seager slashed .272/.335/.483 with 19 home runs and 87 RBI. Now, he's ready to help the Dodgers for their planned lengthy postseason run.

Thankfully, Corey Seager and the driver walked away unscathed and he'll be ready to go for the NLDS against the Washington Nationals on Thursday night.
