Dodgers Games Will Actually Be Televised in LA When MLB Returns Thanks to Miraculous New AT&T Deal
By Michael Luciano

The Los Angeles Dodgers, a premier franchise with a premier fanbase in the second-biggest city in America, somehow weren't able to show their games to AT&T television customers in the LA area, as the provider was notorious for not carrying SportsNet LA on its services, including DirecTV.
Dodger fans starved for baseball can finally breathe a sigh of relief, however, as AT&T has finally relented and agreed to carry SNLA. Specifically, it is currently broadcasting on DirecTV on Channel 690.
GUYS IT’S REAL After five years half of LA is no longer blacked out from watching the Dodgers!! https://t.co/ULRP6HpfPz

Because of contentious negotiations between SportsNet and AT&T following their acquisition of DirecTV in 2015, the television provider did not carry SportsNet LA, which was they only way to watch local Dodgers games. Games were similarly unavailable on AT&T TV, U-verse TV, and the AT&T TV NOW streaming service.
It appears, however, that the hatchet has been buried. Unfortunately, it came right as the MLB season was put on hold due to the spread of the coronavirus.
Spectrum Networks announced a carriage agreement to launch the Los Angeles Dodgers’ regional sports network, Spectrum SportsNet LA to AT&T video subscribers. AT&T TV, DIRECTV, U-verse TV and AT&T TV NOW customers in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii will get SportsNet LA. pic.twitter.com/6dfu6f2ObF

Hopefully these Dodgers fans that are starving for baseball will actually have some games to watch on television. At least one of the most passionate fan bases across all of baseball will finally be able to tune in and watch their favorite baseball team from home after years of having to make do without it.
