The Dodgers will attempt to rebound from a disappointing 5-3 loss in the series opener in which the offense failed to score after the second inning. Top MLB All-Star vote-getter Cody Bellinger will look to rebound from his recent seven-game skid in which he's slashing .154/.290/.231.
Kenta Maeda (7-2, 3.48 ERA) gets the ball for the Dodgers. He hasn't allowed four or more earned runs in a start since May 5.
Angels Lineup
The #FreewaySeries continues. @Cam_Bedrock will open for Félix Peña tonight. First pitch at 7:07pm.

Mike Trout, who holds a slight edge over Bellinger for the league lead in fWAR, enters play slashing .340/.515/.860 over his previous 15 games. He and Shohei Ohtani will look to jump on Maeda early to provide some run support for the pitching staff.
Felix Peña (3-1, 4.53 ERA) gets the call for the Angels. This will be his fifth start of the year. In his previous three outings, he's allowed 10 earned runs in eight innings of work.
