How to Live Stream the Game
The matchup will be televised on NBCSBA and SportsNet Los Angeles at 10:10 p.m. ET. Live streams can be found on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Dodgers Lineup
The Dodgers enter this game coming off a loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Pitcher Clayton Kershaw (5-0) will get the start and build off his last start against the Philadelphia Phillies, where he allowed one earned run in seven innings. He now has a 3.20 ERA with 55 strikeouts in 59 innings, and while he hasn't been as dominant as in recent years, the left-hander is still finding ways to get the job done.
Chris Taylor will bat leadoff with Joc Pederson getting the night off, and Max Muncy and Justin Turner batting behind him. Cody Bellinger will bat cleanup.
Besides Bellinger, David Freese will certainly be one to watch for in this one, as he's hit a phenomenal .368 with 3 homers and 9 RBI through his last 15 games (38 at-bats). Because of his recent stretch of dominance, he's forced his way into a starting gig for the time being.
Giants Lineup
The Giants enter this series on a two-game skid after dropping Ls to the Mets. Joe Panik will bat leadoff on Friday night, with Brandon Belt and Evan Longoria behind him.
Buster Posey was placed on the injured list Wednesday with a hamstring strain, and it's given former second-round pick Aramis Garcia a chance to get some starts at backstop in the interim. He will bat seventh during Friday's nightcap.
Pitcher Drew Pomeranz (1-6) will get the start Friday night, as he looks to post his first successful start since April 24 against the Toronto Blue Jays, where he allowed no runs through six innings. He'll face a tough test against the stacked Dodgers' offense.
