The Dodgers enter this game coming off a 1-2 loss against the Giants in the first game of the series. Pitcher Rich Hill (2-1) will get the start and build upon his last start against the Philadelphia Phillies, where he allowed just three hits and struck out nine over seven shutout innings. Hill currently has a 2.25 ERA with 46 strikeouts in 40 innings, strong numbers for the 39-year-old.
After averaging 5.9 runs/game during their 7-game win streak, the #Dodgers have scored just 3 combined runs over their last 2.

Rich Hill on the mound today. Since mid-May, he is 2-0 w/ a 1.08 ERA over his 4 starts. That ERA is 3rd in MLB over that span (Ryu 1st, Vargas 2nd)
Dodgers Lineup
The Dodgers have been one of the best offensive teams in baseball, scoring the fourth most runs in all of baseball with 341 in 64 games (5.3 runs per game).

The way the Dodgers are hitting, Hill should have plenty of firepower to help get him the win.
Giants Lineup
The Giants enter this game coming off a big win against the Dodgers on Friday night, as they somehow managed to survive Clayton Kershaw's seven strong innings.

Despite the win on Friday, the Giants have scored just 238 runs in 62 games (3.8 runs per game), which is 28th in all of baseball. Pitcher Jeff Samardzija (3-4) will draw the start and look to improve on his 3.64 ERA. Samardzija had a decent outing in his last start against the Dodgers, tossing five innings of shutout ball with just one strikeout.
