Monday night's game between the New York Mets (26-27) and Los Angeles Dodgers (36-18) was supposed to be a pitcher's duel with Jacob deGrom and Clayton Kershaw on the mound, but it ended up being an offensive showdown with the Dodgers coming out on top. Will we see more of the same in Game 2 of the series?

Left-handed pitcher Steven Matz will toe the mound for New York, who in nine starts this season is 3-3 with a 3.63 ERA. Matz is coming off a start against Washington where he allowed just one earned run over six innings with seven strikeouts.

Veteran southpaw Rich Hill is making just his sixth start of the season, and over his first five starts he's 1-1 with a 2.67 ERA. Hill has been pretty dominant thus far, and in his last start against Tampa Bay he went six innings and allowed just one run with seven strikeouts.
