Joc Pederson returns to the unusual position of first base, and his followed in the order by second baseman Max Muncy, third baseman Justin Turner, and MVP candidate Cody Bellinger. Will Smith, who drove in six runs yesterday, is behind the plate once again.

Trea Turner will lead off and play shortstop, while Anthony Rendon hits third and plays third base, Juan Soto plays left field and cleans up, and Matt Adams is the first baseman, hitting fifth.
On the mound today for Washington is Stephen Strasburg, who has an NL-best 13 wins and a 3.37 ERA heading into this game.
