The Dodgers and Padres play the second of their three game series Tuesday night in San Diego. The Padres used a three run sixth inning to win by a score of 4-3 on Monday night.
The loss was the second straight for the Dodgers. Two home runs from Justin Turner and another from Kiké Hernandez provided the 3 runs on the night. Trevor May allowed four runs over 5.1 innings and suffered his third loss. The Padres won their second straight thanks to a quality start from Eric Lauer. They took advantage of some poor Dodger defense to set up and score 3 runs in the sixth inning and Kirby Yates picked up his MLB-leading 38th save.

All-Star Walker Buehler is on the bump for the Dodgers. He is 10-3 with a 3.16 ERA and is tied for the NL lead with two complete games. Notably, one of them was a 15-strikeout performance against the Padres earlier this month.
