Dolphins Continue To Tank As They Try To Trade RB Kenyan Drake
By Michael Luciano
The unprecedented, shameful takedown of the Miami Dolphins is set to continue, as GM Chris Grier is looking to find a trade partner for a talented running back.
Miami has been calling around the league as they try to find a partner for Kenyan Drake, who ran just four times for 12 yards in a 59-10 loss against the Baltimore Ravens.
Drake has seemingly fallen behind Kalen Ballage in Brian Flores' pecking order.
Drafted in the third round, No. 73 overall, in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Alabama, Drake has ran for 1,377 yards on 4.7 yards per carry and nine touchdowns in his four years as a Dolphin, while adding 777 yards and six touchdowns as a receiver. He has plenty to offer a contender as a change-of-pace back who can catch out of the backfield.
Miami continues to sell off anyone with a pulse, as they are trying to find buyers for both Drake and 2018 first rounder Minkah Fitzpatrick, who is their best long-term asset on defense.
If the Dolphins are intent on insulting their fans by putting this product out on the field, then they'll be motivated to sell Drake away for pennies on the dollar.
