Well, this news certainly isn't going to help negate the prevalent narrative that Tom Brady is treated like porcelain by NFL referees whenever a defender makes contact with him.

Sure, roughing the passer penalties have taken the league by storm in the early stages of 2019 for all of the wrong reasons, but this promises to exasperate New England Patriots cynics.

After Miami Dolphins linebacker Raekwon McMillan delivered a clear-as-day legal hit on TB12 during Sunday's game, the ref subsequently walked over to him and reportedly uttered "Stay off Tom."

We're joking, right?

And please, do NOT hit us with the rebuttal that this is more about the zebras protecting all gunslingers more so than their bias for the six-time Super Bowl champ.

Brady apparently can't be touched by impeding rushers, but quarterbacks like Russell Wilson and Cam Newton, among others, couldn't buy a flag on the most vigorous and belated tackles.

It's simply par for the course as these antics have been personified for years on end now, but its still just as infuriating. We'll stop harping on this topic when other QBs in the league are treated like teflon.
