Dolphins Give Former Hard-Hitting Cowboys Safety Kavon Frazier a Second Chance
By Adam Weinrib

There's a lot to like about Kavon Frazier's game, and after being unable to add to his ledger in 2019, the silver bullet is reuniting with former Dallas secondary mate Byron Jones in MIA.
Frazier, a fan favorite who watched his Cowboys career end in Week 4 last season, is signing with the Dolphins, as confirmed by his agent.

Still only 25 years old, Frazier has plenty of energy left in the tank.
Prior to hitting IR last season with a pectoral injury (hardly a long-term concern, after all), Frazier had gained a reputation for laying the wood in Big D's secondary. In 2018, he swarmed with 15 solo tackles and a sack despite not starting a single game. He's been a rotational piece throughout his career, but was likely poised for an upgrade in responsibility last season, prior to everything collapsing against the New Orleans Saints.

Now, he'll join a talented secondary that's full of high-priced cornerbacks, but lighter on safety depth. The opportunity's there. The smackdown can be laid.
