While Dolphins fans are waiting for Chris Grier to get a long-term deal done with Tua Tagovailoa, the Miami general manager has made a different kind of splash. On Thursday night, news broke that the Dolphins have signed Calais Campbell to a one-year deal.

Campbell is a six-time Pro Bowler and a former First-Team All Pro selection. He is getting ready for Year 17 in the NFL too. He may have lost a step, but he still has the potential to make a big difference for Mike McDaniel and Co.

The Dolphins have worked overtime in improving the defense this offseason, with Campbell being the latest impressive signing. He's a University of Miami legend too, so people all over the city are fired up for this latest news.
