Dolphins Reportedly Want to Trade Up and Take Joe Burrow
By Michael Luciano
Mock drafts have been really easy to start off writing this year, as it is almost a certainty that the Cincinnati Bengals will use the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on LSU quarterback Joe Burrow.
The Miami Dolphins, however, appear to be plotting a major shakeup, as the team is reportedly going to try trading up to No. 1 overall and select Burrow.
Well we all want a lot of things in life, Miami. That doesn't mean it's going to happen!
Burrow, fresh off arguably the greatest single season a college football quarterback has ever had, would command a king's ransom in any potential trade. Even if Miami was able to come up with the funds to make for an adequate trade, fans would likely set fire to the Bengals' headquarters if they passed up on a native son of Ohio that broke every SEC record in the book.
Miami is almost assuredly going to end up with a new QB in this draft, with Justin Herbert and Tua Tagovailoa standing out as the most likely candidates to get picked No. 5 overall. Burrow, while enticing, is more of a fantasy than a realistic possibility.
