Ohio State and Michigan Need to Take Michigan State Seriously in Race for Donovan Edwards
By Brady Williams

The Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes are the powerhouses of the Big Ten. However, the Michigan State Spartans could be the NCAA football favorites to secure four-star recruit Donovan Edwards.
The Michigan native checks in at 5-11, 190 pounds and has a boatload of offers. However, in a recent Q&A on Instagram, he made it clear Michigan State is a serious contender to receive his National Letter of Intent. Oh, he also called them his dream school. You don't say?
During an Instagram Q&A, 2021 4-Star RB Donovan Edwards called MSU his dream school in this post. He also agreed that him & Elijah Collins would be quite the duo.

The Spartans' coaching staff has made him a major priority in recruitment, and his deep connection to the team that traces back to his childhood could be a huge key to landing him. Not to mention, he's already conceded that pairing up with current Michigan State star Elijah Collins would be great.
Mel Tucker has put Michigan State back in the race for Donovan Edwards and he should be priority No. 1. #GoGreen https://t.co/0ipGfo8bn2

In the class of 2021, Edwards is ranked the No. 2 RB in the nation by 247Sports. He'll be an instant contributor for any team, but coach Mel Tucker's relentless pursuit could prove fruitful if Michigan and Ohio State let their foot off the gas.
