VIDEO: Doug Gottlieb Says Kyrie Irving Could Help Celtics in Playoffs in Latest Idiotic Claim
By Brendan Balsamo

Just in case you lived under a rock this past summer, on June 30, Kyrie Irving signed a four-year, $141 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets after playing on the Boston Celtics for two seasons. For some reason, Doug Gottlieb, while filling in for Colin Cowherd on FS1's "The Herd' Tuesday, thinks Kyrie's still on the Celtics... and that he can be of big help for them in the 2020 postseason.

What?
Everyone on social media is confused as to what ol' Doug meant. There's some speculation that he mean Kemba Walker, who is factually a member of the Celtics, but he is reading of what looks to be notes on his desk. Wouldn't he realize his mistake by then?
If he did mean Irving, then this is definitely not his first incredibly wild take. Just look at these comments he made about former Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Jalen Hurts "was not well liked in that locker room. He was seen as About Me Guy."

—Doug Gottlieb, wildin' out.
For all of his deficiencies on the field, this is just grossly inaccurate. Hurts was—is—beloved by his teammates.
I sincerely don't know what Doug is talking about. pic.twitter.com/MHRdgP53g6
So, to fix any confusion: No, Kyrie Irving is not on the Boston Celtics, and yes, Doug Gottlieb needs to check his research.
