VIDEO: Doug Gottlieb is at it Again With Ridiculous Take About Tom Brady's Playoff Performance vs Titans
By Michael Luciano

Doug Gottlieb has plenty of opinions on a variety of hot button sports topics, but none of them are worth committing to memory. His latest head-scratcher comes at the expense of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, as Gottlieb tried to argue that Brady's skill was on the decline because he couldn't lead the Patriots to victory on their final drive against the Tennessee Titans, ignoring the fact it's almost impossible to score in that situation.
Our buddy @GottliebShow is back with another scorching-hot take. Doug was very disappointed in Tom Brady for not "driving his team" down the field to beat the Titans.

I mean, any other QB would have pulled out the victory from his own 1-yard line with 0:15 left and no timeouts. pic.twitter.com/LBbQll7vlf
As the old saying goes, if you can't lead your team to victory from your own one-yard line with 15 seconds left and no timeouts, are you really the guy?
Gottlieb did try to explain himself later, saying that his point was centered around the argument that fans think Brady was carrying a terrible team when in reality they were a couple wins away from the AFC Championship Game again.
Point was, the idea the Patriots weren’t terribly far off of being in the AFC Champ game, people act like they stink.

But point taken on it being nearly impossible to score there
Then again, we are dealing with the guy who called Andrew Luck retiring "the most millennial thing ever" and described George Kittle, the best blocking tight end in the league, as "not really a blocker," so this is far from his first venture into hot take territory.

At least Gottlieb had the fortitude to admit he made a mistake and acknowledge how out of left field he was with this take. That doesn't make the sentiment any less ridiculous.
