ESPN's Josina Anderson dropped some interesting news on Wednesday when she tweeted an anonymous Philadelphia Eagles player voiced his frustrations with the organization not trading for All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

That player allegedly took things a step further by chastising Carson Wentz and the Eagles supposed 'complicated' offense.

On Friday, head coach Doug Pederson became aware of the news, and to say that he doesn't really care for the hoopla would exactly describe his sarcastic response.

Pederson's assessment of the report is certainly comical, but shouldn't he be taking it a little bit more seriously? Things clearly aren't grand in his team's locker room if they are willing to voice frustrations and dish out criticism to a well-respected NFL reporter.

"Listen it’s a tough sport and I’ve gotta have the right play at the right time against the right defense and I’m asking 11 guys to execute that play," he said. "We trust those guys to make the right decisions. If there’s complexity in that, yeah there’s complexity in that because you’re going against 11 guys who are really really good trying to execute that one play. That’s why we wear the 'C' on our hat for coach, we gotta continue to teach and get our guys prepared every week.”

The full quote certainly sounds better, but it's exactly the kind of wishy-washy response that we'd an expect from a head coach coping with potential turmoil in his locker room.

At least Pederson put the anonymous double agent on blast by belittling the power that he thinks he has by maligning his own teammates.

Credit where it's due.
