Draymond Green Can't Afford Another Technical Foul in Warriors-Raptors Game 6
By Daniel Lubofsky
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has once again had a phenomenal postseason run in 2019.
The three-time All-Star has averaged 13.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.4 steals per game, asserting his place as one of the best all-around players in the NBA.
Yet for all the good he's provided on the court, Green still hasn't been able to keep his emotions in check, resulting in six technical fouls. A seventh would result in a one-game suspension.
This is not the first time Draymond's had to keep an eye on his technical foul count in the playoffs.
Back in 2016, an altercation with LeBron James in Game 4 had him suspended for Game 5. The Cleveland Cavaliers would go on to win the Finals in seven games.
Down 3-2 in their series with the Toronto Raptors, the Warriors are already without Kevin Durant and Kevon Looney, both of whom re-injured themselves in Game 5.
If they're to win another championship, they'll need him on the court and contributing.
