Drew Brees Won't Retire if Saints Win Super Bowl This Year

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints begin another quest toward a Super Bowl title Sunday afternoon at home against Minnesota. The veteran is in the final year of his contract and, like Tom Brady, questions have emerged about his future in the NFL.
Ian Rapoport appeared to have shut down the possibility of Brees leaving the Saints, whether he wins a Super Bowl or not.
From @NFLGameDay: #Saints QB Drew Brees is in the final year of his deal. It seems very clear he'll be back in New Orleans, but what if he wins it all this year? pic.twitter.com/K616xWdzIl

Rapoport discusses how the Saints and Brees have been in this contract situation before. Brees does not want to leave and there's no reason why the Saints would move on from him when he's still playing at an elite level.
The Vikings will be without two CB when they face off against the Saints on Sunday.

Since Week 11, Drew Brees is the only QB to complete 70% of his passes and have an 80 QBR against both man and zone defenses.

It's easy to think that Brees may ride off into the sunset if the Saints were to win the Super Bowl this year, but Rapoport mentions if Brees does indeed win it all again, that would only motivate him to win another.
The Brady rumors are going to be wild all offseason, but any about Brees can be put to rest with this news.
