Duck Hodges Reenters as Mason Rudolph and Maurkice Pouncey Come Down With Injuries
By Michael Luciano

With Devlin Hodges benched and James Conner hurt, the Pittsburgh Steelers weren't done losing starters to injury or poor performance just yet.
Center Maurkice Pouncey, who is in the middle of another excellent season, limped off of the field and into the medical tent with what looked like a lower leg injury.

Pouncey has been replaced by BJ Finney, who has started nine games with the Steelers since 2015. Pouncey, who has played nine seasons in the NFL, was named a Pro Bowler at center once again this season. In fact, he has made the Pro Bowl in every season that he has been healthy.
As soon as the third quarter ended, Pouncey could be seen getting carted off of the field, which doesn't paint a very rosy picture of his availability for the rest of the game.

Rudolph, who was slicing the Jets up on their few drives, is ALSO coming out of this game after he was seen wincing on that last drive. It's been deemed a shoulder injury, and Hodges is back into the game to replace the former Oklahoma State Cowboy.

Pouncey and Rudolph's injuries could be major blows to Pittsburgh's chances of making it into the playoffs.
