VIDEO: Duron Harmon Reveals He Found Out the Patriots Traded Him to the Lions While He Was Getting Dental Surgery
Matt Patricia is assembling a Detroit Lions team filled with former New England Patriots players. Cornerback Duron Harmon is the latest to join the Lions after head coach Bill Belichick traded him to Detroit this week. It's easy for fans to forget that players are just normal people going about their day when trade news comes in. Harmon took that notion a step further, however, by learning of the news while he was at the dentist after getting his tooth pulled. Imagine that!

Harmon said he was finishing having his tooth pulled when he saw Belichick was calling, but he had to wait for after the procedure to call him back. He did so, with very much an unclear head, and was told he was being relocated. Wild.

Harmon was with the Patriots from 2013-2019 and they've been his only NFL home, but now with Tom Brady gone and a number of key players departing on the defensive side of the ball, perhaps this trade was a blessing in disguise for the veteran.
