Baker's contract has him initially set up in Houston for one season after early reports indicated he'd be there for two years. With a club option at the end of the season, Baker could get extended through 2021 or his contract could get bought out.
Baker's got a solid track record as a manager with postseason experience and could benefit from all the talent around him in Houston.
