Dwayne Haskins Sends Hopeful Tweet After Report of Redskins Reconciling With Trent Williams
By Jerry Trotta

Washington Redskins tenacious left tackle Trent Williams sat out the entire 2019 season due to his strained relationship with the organization.
Now that Ron Rivera, a head coach that is highly-respected throughout the NFL, is running the show in the nation's capital, Williams future in Washington might yet be salvaged.
Sources close to insider Ian Rapoport say that Rivera and Williams recently engaged in a "positive conversation."
A potentially significant development for the #Redskins: Franchise LT Trent Williams & new coach Ron Rivera have touched base for what sounded like a positive conversation, I’m told. The next step would be for Williams to come in to visit, but the two sides are now communicating.

It may not sound like much, but this is undoubtedly a significant stride for both sides considering the lengths that Williams, a seven-time Pro Bowler, went to in order to isolate himself from the franchise.
Well, Washington's second-year signal caller Dwayne Haskins caught wind of Rapoport's encouraging update, and his response on Twitter suggests that he's hopeful Rivera can restore Williams' faith in the organization.

Haskins showed flashes in his rookie campaign despite the Redskins' decision to feed him to the wolves without proper first team reps in practice.
Like any rookie quarterback, Haskins struggled to develop consistency, but the Ohio State product will be feeling much more confident heading into Year 2 if he has Williams protecting his blindside.
