EA Sports Wants Us to Think Chad Johnson Was Talking to Himself While Playing Madden Like a Crazy Person

During this time of self-quarantining, plenty of sports fans are getting their fill by playing EA Sports' "Madden NFL 20" on their video games consoles. Hey, we have to do something to fill the void, and gaming is a safe way to do it. Even former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson is partaking in the virtual action, and as it turns out, the artist formerly known as Ochocinco can get seriously invested in a good 'ol Madden game. In fact, the game's official Twitter account tried to make it seem like the artist formerly known as Ochocinco was talking to himself. But he totally wasn't!

After reading the caption on this tweet from the official EA Sports Madden account, you would have swore that Johnson asked himself how many yards he got on that pick-six with Kansas City Chiefs safety Juan Thornhill. As it turns out, the former receiver and aspiring kicker was asking the chat how many yards he ran to reach the end zone.

So, that's a relief.

We can't be too quick to judge, though. When playing a video game, you can't help but talk to your television screen. You do it. We do it. Everybody does it.

Even a certain former Cincinnati Bengals wideout, but not in this particular case! We're out here looking out for Chad Johnson even if EA Sports won't.
